it was a hot summer day of 08 & while checking mail at our po box in amphissa discovered a pack mailed from a guy called 'cynas'. no further info was given nor we could track down any.... simply a cdr featuring 6 tracks of weird marvellous lo-fi ambience and a handwritten notice in russian and a few greek words  w/ a marker on a page of the russian newspaper published by the russian community in greece... foxed about what it might be written on it we thank god that our cousins costis drygianakis & olya gluschenko were passing by while heading for athens to pick up their flight for russia and they helped a bit w/ it... in brief... our unknown friend sent us a cdr w/pieces recorded here and there in greece while travelling (under unkown conditions) using his mobile studio, chanced accross 'editions_zero' while attenting a 'plunderphonics' night costis & olya held a couple of years ago at the small music theatre and thanks a friend he had found our address and found the time to post us the aforementioned cdr to listen and if we fancy to issue... so here it is and as our friend reminded us of a little cynic hero, olya shot the cover photos influenced by her favest cynics duo, kratis & ipparhia... enjoy!

[ed. the notes on this write editions_zero #17 but there's already a title with that number in our catalogue. this might mean this is a bootleg...]
